Utah Carry Permit Class 

Thursday August 9, 2012

6:00PM to 10:00PM

Doors open at 5:00 to start finger printing process. The cost of the class will be $116.00 per person, payable the night of the class by cash, check, or credit card. Those interested may either signup in the clubhouse or email Dayne Crowley (daynecrowley@verizon.net). The class is four hours long and offered by Frontsight ccw.

The Utah Permit enables a person with a PA Conceal Carry Permit reciprocity in 36 states. To get the Utah permit a person needs their home state Conceal Carry Permit. You can get the Utah and then your home state (Utah will accept the application for up to a year from issue). Cable Restraint Certification 

September 

This is a one-day certification class for any person desiring to complete the mandatory Cable Restraint Certification Program. This certification allows for the use of cable restraint devices to trap certain furbearing animals. Certification is required by regulation for any trapper using cable restraint devices to capture foxes and coyotes. PAGC will arrange for a class at McDonald Sportsmen's in September. Look to the agency's website (http://www.pgc.state.pa.us) under the "Calendar of Events" section in the left-hand column of the homepage.


NRA-First Steps Pistol Class 

September 

This is a three hour class to provide beginning shooters with an introduction to knowledge, skills, and attitude necessary to own and use a specific handgun safely. Those interested in the class should email Dayne Crowley or sign up in the clubhouse. A specific date is to be arranged for sometime in September 2012.
