Candidates for Membership in McDonald Sportsmen’s Association (Club) must be sponsored by a Club member in good standing. The Club Charter is opened periodically and each member is permitted to sponsor one person for membership.

New members are subject to a one-year probationary period, at which time the entire membership votes to admit candidates for full membership. Criteria considered to attain full membership include the candidate’s meeting attendance, participation in work days, promoting the mission of the Club, and supporting the Club’s standing in the community.

In order to facilitate sponsorship, we recommend that potential candidates attend some of the Club’s public functions in order to get to know the membership. Potential candidates are also welcome and encouraged to participate in and/or help out with the Club’s public functions.
